Three Deviations Eating Behavior


Deviation of eating behavior is emotional and physical problems associated with food, weight, and body shape. There are three common types of deviant behavior, namely: Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia, and Binge Eating. Each type has its characteristic signs and symptoms are described below.
 



Anorexia Nervosa
People suffering from Anorexia Nervosa have an extreme fear of weight gain and have always felt less satisfied with the shape and size of the body. This is a form of failure to maintain a normal weight. Some people with Anorexia Nervosa restricting food intake with diet and exercise to excess.

Bulimia
Bulimia is similar to Anorexia, but with episodes of binge eating and then compensated by the extreme, such as vomit, and excessive exercise.

Binge Eating
Binge Eating is similar to Bulimia, but this is not compensated by food expenditure. People with binge eating is always skipping meals, or eating smaller portions when together with friends / family, but then eat that much when you're alone.
